Indigenous Food Systems Network Website Train the Trainer's Workshop

Building capacity within the Indigenous Food Systems Network (IFSN). Learning and discussing ways to develop and use the newly launched Indigenous Food Systems Network website (www.indigenousfoodsystems.org/ ) as a tool for creating an online community focusing on Indigenous food related action, research, and policy reform.

Purpose of Document: 
Goals: A. To provide hands on training opportunities for key players in four main regions around the province of B.C. who are willing to promote and share information about how to use the IFSN website in their work with Indigenous communities. B. To discuss the ways that the building of an online community can benefit the work being done by individuals and groups working on Indigenous food related action. C. To gather feedback and discuss the ways that the IFSN website can be improved upon as a more effective networking tool for building an online community. i.e. design, content and maintenance of website.
